This past weekend I finally got around to doing a bunch of maintenence on my 2000 Cavalier.

Some guides to note for use in the future include.

Fixing the rear defrost, if you have a 2000+ J body and your rear defroster is not working and your defrost light comes on when you push the button, then this is the guide for you.

Check it out at J-Body Knights

More good info for doing work on a J body or a Cavalier (which is a J-body)

If you have ever wanted to replace the radio on your 2000+ cavalier then Team Forward Motion is the place to go. It is necesary to take the dash apart in order to put a new radio in. This place has the info to take the dash off of your cavalier or sunfire, remove side panels and many other things.

The link to J-Body Knights doesn’t work. Maybe their server is down, or they changed servers?

I have a sunfire with the same rear defrost problem, what did you do to fix it?

I had to bypass a plug underneath the dash, the original post went down. Unfortunately I don’t have the directions saved. I’d check http://www.j-body.org/ a solution is probably there too.
