The Longest Week: without internet

Next week will be an in between week, as in Time Warner won’t have internet at the new apartment until Monday the 15th. I will be doing some posting during lunch or shortly after I get off work but the biggest problem lies with E3. YOU see E3 is the biggest game conference of the year and while I can get a load of it online on the computer I was looking forward to all this streaming Major Nelson et al have been talking about for the 360 Live Gold owners. Unfortunately the whole week of E3 my Xbox and the internet will be about 5 miles apart. And since I wasn’t part of the longest wifi connection and I have no wifi connector for the 360 I will be resigned to finding the one spot in the apartment I can get onto a neighbor’s unencrypted wifi, to read about rather than watch E3.

Speaking of Unencrypted wireless is it this open everywhere or just in small towns in Ohio. My favorite activity on an unencrypted wireless network which features writable folders or a shared printer is printing the owner fun messages or leaving a text file saying hi!
