Loose Wiimotes Might Sink HDTVs
Since the Nintendo Wii launched a week ago reports have been piling in of breaking straps. It appears that Nintendo may not have stress tested this TV saving strap on either drunk people or individuals with sweaty hands. The problem lies in the strap breaking as a hard forward motion is made. Joystiq has a collection of Wii related incidents which they have been made aware of as well as the damage caused by these faulty pieces of fabric. Fear not Wii Lovers a simple solution is on the horizon, actually its in your toolbox or at your local hardware shop.

Neon Zip Tie
In order to stop the Wiimote from slipping out of your lubed up hands head down to Ace Hardware and get a zip tie. these wonderful little inventions will secure the WiiMote to the Handstrap in good fashion and are durable to boot. Pictured below is a standard clear/white zip tie but with a little help you can begin to accessorize using a neonzip tie as well. Please protect your TV, Zip up your Wiimote.
