Music Executives Behaving Badly Pt III

Music executives’ tongues are getting looser and looser as the year goes on.  First Doug Morris calls iPod owners theives, then Edgar Bronfman admits his children steal music with no legal repercussions, and now Richard Parsons, CEO and Chair of Time Warner has stated that,“I like music. I have iPods everywhere. I had the whole bunch of (the Warner music collection) files put on before we sold it.” He is more or less admitting to pirating music.

I am runing out of things to say about these executives who either don’t get their consumer or don’t play by the stringent and overzealous rules and consequences Joe Consumer needs to abide by.

The moral of the story is if you are suing other people for stealing your music it is ok to steal said music.

In other news the MPAA thinks it is ok to make a copy of a film so long as it serves your purpose, you keep it in a safe and you have money.
