I am trying to put music onto my LG vx8500 chocolate phone and when i plug it into the computer it says it needs to install the device driver software, which i have on my computer but it fails and says the device is unplugged even though it’s not. Any idea what the issue is here?

Hi I have a BlackJack ll and I would like to have one of my songs from my Sandisk Micro Chip that I have my music on to be one of my ringtones but whenevr I click “set as ringtone” it said that the file size cannot be larger than 300kb but on the other hand if I send ringtones to my phone,I cannot recieve them because I cannot recieve Multimedia messages.So How can I set one of my songs from my micro chip thing as one of my ringtones?Like How can I make a ringtone on my laptop and send it to my phone thats not larger than 300kb and cannot be sent to my phone as a message?PLease reply ASAP.

Ok, I have read all the instructions up there and still cannot get the music to play on the phone. I followed the way to get the music onto the micro sd card, and its there, plays fine on the PC, but when i put the card into the phone and go to external memory, it says nothing is saved there. Why? What am I missing.
