Off To That 360 Backyard in the Sky

Well my 360 has been sputtering, actually beeping over the past few days. It began freezing up more frequently over the past day. Today, I can hardly get 5 minutes of uptime out of it. Thankfully that was enough to transfer my gamesaves to the memory unit I bought tonite.

Tomorrow I’ll be taking it back to Best Buy where I have a warranty, and hopefully getting either a new 360 Premium with the same warranty continuing, or a new 360 Elite if I need to purchase another warranty.  Best Buy seems to change their policy on the warranty every time I deal with them.

I am not completely sure I need the advanced features of the Elite yet since my TV doesn’t have HDMI, bu I know it will be useful in the future. On a similar note, the limited edition black “could” be worth more in resale later in the console’s life, assuming it makes it past it’s one year birthday which non of my consoles have.  Look for a Best Buy customer service review tomorrow.
