I have had enough, we need to get the coders behind delicious, flickr, google, etc together and decide how tags should be entered.

• Is it a space or is it a comma
• Can have two words or do I need to blend them together
• can I use quotations, dashes…

Wikipedia on Tag Syntax, there are too many variations in syntax for a efficient system to work across multiple services.  It is inefficient and frustrating that on one service I need to use videogames on another video games is acceptable and on a third it is video-games.  I realize I can train myself to use the lowest common denominator but a standard would enrich and enable better tagging.
I don’t care what you decide so long as it is the same across the board. We’ve got the technology, we’ve got the time and money lets fix it.
