Meet My Next Laptop: Asus EeePC
I am a freak for small electronics and the new Asus Eee PC which is both small and priced low looks pretty amazing to handle my day to day needs. Unlike many other ultraslim ultra portable laptops the Eee drops in at $399 which nets a 4 GB Solid State Drive and 512 MB Ram with a 7″ Screen. It runs on Linux but can also handle XP in the future. With the introduction of Rhapsody for Linux earlier this year I could really make use of the Linux variant for all of my day to day uses. I’m sure by the time I am in the market for a new laptop the choices will be even broader for small devices but if I could get a new laptop in the next 2 months I would be getting an Eee PC.
