A Comparison of Election Twitter Tactics

The above image is currently on election.twitter.com during the debate. I don’t care which side you’re on, this to me is a huge indication of character and tactics. I wish both of these accounts would have had a “Good Luck!” or Hoping to share information with America, rather than seeing McCain link to an ad of “gotcha moments” starring Biden.

What are your thoughts?

You’ve got a valid point, the McCain campaign made a bad decision putting up this ad on Twitter. However, I don’t think anyone should rush to judgement over a Twitter ad that McCain probably had little to do with himself. I think a good way to accurately depict someone’s character is to consider their actual past decisions and actions. Ex #1: VP candidate Biden stated that Obama is “not ready to lead,” and now wholeheartedly supports him. What this means: Biden will change his mind if there’s something in it for him. Ex #2: Obama has said that the abortion issue is “above his pay grade.” What this means: As president, Obama would have to find someone to make his tough decisions for him.
I agree that these political ads are ridiculous, for both sides, and I hope no one bases their decision solely on these baseless attacks.
