Pulp Fiction Takes on Xbox Live and Brain Age
One of my new favorite comics FanBoy$ had a great comic featuring the Pulp Fiction characters and their takes on Xbox Live V. Playstation @ Home and the issue Brain Age has with the word “Blue”. As the Author States if you don’t get this I have lost a little respect for you. Sorry, kinda.
Pointy Haired Boss Blog
Today’s Dilbert Comic truly reflects the typical Boss blog idea, “Lets start a blog, who cares about the content.”
Funny, but sad. Click the first panel for the rest of the strip.
WebComic – Your Brain On Violent Games
If you have been keeping up with the news lately you may have heard about a senseless crime in Wisconsin. Two teens beat and killed a homeless man for no apparent reason. One of the teens recalls that the day started like normal, drugs and alcohol, and ended with feces smeared on a dead man’s head. The teen later related the experience to that of a violent video game. Gabe from Penny Arcade took the stance no mainstream media will touch, placing all blame on the parents, those not familiar with Penny Arcade should not the article is written as a satire not as baseless blame. Shortly after the stepmother of one of the teens involved, shared her account of trying to raise a child with obvious problems.
I am fed up with games being blamed for everything wrong in the world today. I decided to take a swing at makign a webcomic. Since I canot draw, I used a flickr pic of a brain from user merfam.
