Niko and Vlad appear on SNL
Tobias Buckell tipped me off on this humorous skit in which Niko and Vlad, characters from GTA IV, vent about the perception of rough and tumble Liberty City. This skit cracks me up, maybe I should start watching SNL again…
Australian Easter Ducks, In Dresses
Apparently ‘Down Under’ they like to do things..uh..differently where it is an Easter tradition to dress up ducks like high fashion ladies and get them to prance about in front of a crowd. The reporter shares that this spectacle is a celebration of “rural industries”. I caught a version of the above video on the teaser for our local news show, thankfully Youtube spared me the agony of an hour of FOX news, though I was tricked into seeing the personal interest piece on a high school Sr. named Jordan Sparks, like the American Idol.
Better Not Go Offtopic In Your Next Meeting!
I’ve sat through enough off topic banter during meetings over the last few years of my life that I could have easily watched every episode of MTV’s Real World, not that I’d want to but that should put it into perspective. I decided to make the above poster using despair.com’s DIY poster maker. My take on a classic internet meme or joke if you will. Just remember, “Everytime you Go Offtopic In a Meeting…God Kills a Kitten!”
NWA Day- “help” tha Police
A father shares the wonders of NWA with his wife and son, with some selective self editing to keep mom happy.
Of All The Problems To Have
Scanning the local police reports is something which always brings me joy. The following report was in The Findlay Courier today and is too funny to withhold from you any longer.
Police responded to a Frazer Street residence Wednesday morning on a domestic complaint after a man became upset that his girlfriend kept waking him up for sex. No arrests were made.
Some people have nothing but problems. Do you have an even better Police blotter story? If so leave it in the comments, for daily police blotter hilarity, check out Crime Scene KC.

Trixie Leaves Major Nelson Off The Top 10 Cute Boys in Journalism

Talk about a “Major” diss, last week Trixie put together a list of the Top 10 Cute boys in gaming journalism and left good ol’ Major Nelson off the list! I don’t know if Larry Hyrb is technically a gaming journalist but he does manage to sneak into the shot above with Geoff Keighley. I hope Larry can drown his sorrows in some Bacon at his favorite burger joint.
Boing Boing Sponsorship Confusion
I found the following set of advertisements humorous as I read Boing Boing in Google Reader Earlier today.

Its nice to see Windows Mobile and Palm playing well together!
Peaches Come In a Can

This advertisement sculpture is for some new form of face cream from a company based in Australia. As some of the comments noted on Boing Boing, at what point is it in a meeting that, “Lets make a giant lady out of peached” sounds good? All I could think of when I saw this was the song Peaches by The Presidents of The United States of America. Warning the tune of Peaches won’t likely leave your head willingly listen at your own risk.
