EGM: Spartan Helmets and Halo 3 Coverage

EGM with 1up.com have been able to share some Halo 3 info. Halo 3 will come in 3 different packages; regular, collector’s, and Legendary. There is no price listed for legendary bundle but it should include the following.

Legendary Edition of Halo 3: A four-disc set, featuring a video of cut-scenes from the Halo games with DVD-style director’s commentary, among other extras like documentaries and and a look at the way Halo fans have extended the fiction, in addition to the actual game. Oh, and there’s a cat-head sized SPARTAN helmet that you’ll put over the four discs as a display piece. How much will this all cost? No one has a clue.

I am a sucker for schwag even if I have to pay for it so as long as the 4 disc legendary package comes in under $100 I’ll bring it home.

1up.com will also be featuring “3 weeks of Halo 3” in which they will be revealing new info regarding the single player, multiplayer and general gameplay items.

Halo 3: Forerunner?

Supposedly Halo 3 won’t really be Halo 3 it will be some huge environment 4 player co-op game etc. Really different probably fake.

* Halo 3 isn’t currently called Halo 3. In fact, it doesn’t even have halo in the name – it is called Forerunner
* It will include HUGE environments.
* It will be somewhat open – i.e. A mission where you have to go invade/destroy an armory will determine how much weaponry you have for the next mission and how much the opposing forces will have.
* Will have a definite mission structure – but still be somewhat open.
* 4 Player Co-Op
* A gameinformer source (not named) HAS SEEN THE GAME IN ACTION. He also explains that the reason Bungie says there is no Halo 3 is because it will most likely be called ‘Forerunner’

The Halo 2 Blanket

Christmas time has come and Amber has gone above and beyond raising the bar for wives and women across the nation.

Amber spent the past month and a half making me a Master Chief Blanket. The blanket is freakin’ Amazing. Photos cannot really do it justice. I present the one of a kind Halo 2 blanket, in fact most likely the worlds first. Bungie, Wanna come over and play a round and sign the blanket?
