October 1st, 2008 · No Comments

When I installed uberOptions a handy utility for anyone with a Logitech mouse I was presented what I consider to be the best EULA ever written.

The solar powered apocalypse

August 20th, 2008 · No Comments

I’ve been reading quite a bit of post apocalyptic fiction lately, becoming completely enthralled by Jeff Carlson’s Plague Year and the followup novel Plague War in which any piece of land below 10,000 feet has become uninhabitable due to a nasty bit of nanotech. The nanotech pulls apart humans in order to create replications of [...]

Glad my car started this morning!

July 6th, 2008 · No Comments

Yesterday we went up to the new Bass Pro shop in Rossford, Ohio near Toledo, but before we took off I had my dad take a listen to a new noise my car was making. We decided to check out the spark plugs after we got back from stocking up on fishing supplies.
We had a [...]

Dear Hollywood, Stop Making Spoof Movies

June 19th, 2008 · No Comments

Back in 2000 when Keenen Wayans decided to make Scary Movie, I wonder if he knew the hell he would unleash upon moviegoers worldwide. While Scary Movie wasn’t horrible and some would even argue good, it had a huge breadth of material to pull from, in fact over 100 years worth of horror films. Unfortunately [...]
